The Freeland - (L) Check-In

I ordered another brand previously but returned it because it wasn’t bright enough. These are a little heavier than my previous brand but looks to be super tough material. I LOVE the accessories: the pouch for the phone that attaches on the sides and also the hook to attach a bag or whatever. So far, I’m loving them! Easy to roll.

UPDATE: After 200+ flights one wheel broke, I reached out to the seller and he sent me a replacement. I expected it to take weeks, but it arrived in a couple days. DOPE customer service.

Pretty good carry-on, has been on about 30 flights so far.

Pros:
- Rolls effortlessly
-30/70 split is pretty great for packing things like shoes, hard hats, misc. stuff on one side and clothes on the other
- Very durable so far, no breakage after a mix of carrying it on and checking it. Some scratches but it's a work-horse

Cons:
- If spinning it to change hands (quickly), the oversized wheels sometimes chatters. Not a huge deal if you are a relaxed traveler and not one to zoom around a crowd.

My fiancée and I travel a lot more than I used to so I needed a larger carry on for our shorter trips. I spent 2 weeks reviewing luggage and finally landed on this. I am blown away after receiving. The color is vibrant and the extra pocket for outside storage is great! It seems to be very sturdy and can take a few hits. Excited to use!

So… it took me a second to figure out how to open the lock, but I don’t have a lot of experience with these cases so don’t judge me. The luggage is very lightweight, but seems to be very decent quality and sturdy enough to withstand normal use. Very convenient pockets and just overall very well thought out design both inside and out. These cases are easy to maneuver and very comfortable to use. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend these.

As a frequent traveler, I'm always looking for something that holds up to TSA and airports. These trunk-style rollers are VERY smooth. Great wheels. And so far, they're pretty tough after flgoint through ATL, ETC.

I really like this set. The 3 sizes are perfect for long trips.
Although the plastic seems 'soft' it is highly durable.
The wheels are amazing, best that I have ever used, I rolled 3 suitcases alone easily!
When coming back from a trip I had a minor issues and contacted the seller - I got amazing costumer service! And different options on how to resolve my issue.
I am totally satisfied with the purchase and can recommend it.

Love the carry on. Fits a decent amount of clothes (used packing cubes). Wheels around smoothly. The medium size bag has good space, but haven’t used yet.

I bought this set in bright yellow and it was easy to distinguish mine from the sea of others at the airport. I was worried that the carry-on bag was going to be an inch or two too big because the airline guidelines said 14 inches. However, I didn't have any issues and it fit fine in the overhead bins. I love this set. You can even put the handle down while walking toward the escalator and right back up when you step off. I can't say enough about how much I love this set and can't wait to use it again.

We bought this for my son to travel overseas with. It was easy to maneuver through the airport even while sprinting.

The suitcase seems well made with thoughtful details, such as the removable net pocket on the outside. And the customer service is great -- there was a minor problem with one of the inside zippers and the company responded quickly to me when I asked about it and gave me a very reasonable refund to cover the cost of fixing it. Overall, very happy with the suitcase and with the company.

Also, the yellow is a great color.

Update: the 29” suitcase is too large to take on US airlines. For example, Delta limits checked baggage to be no larger than 62 linear inches (length+width+height). The 29” bag measures about 64.5” all together. Disappointed that this size is too large, because I probably would have chosen another luggage set. However, it still is a nice set and will continue to use the smaller two cases for flying.

This is a beautiful luggage set! I was hesitant the the green color would be too bright for my liking, but it’s a very nice olive green. All three pieces move smoothly and although the case does give a little if you push on it, it feels sturdy enough for my sporadic traveling. Some things I love:
-bottom handle. I had trouble finding hard luggage with a place for your hand to grip on the bottom. I love that all three pieces have this feature!
-all three pieces have a mesh bag that can be added to the side to put a water bottle or extra things in. Based on the item description I thought it was just the largest bag that had this. I was happy to see that each piece came with the hooks and appropriate sized bag. (These are pictured in the left zipper divider in each top half of the bags)
-the locks! I also struggled to find a set in which all sizes had tsa approved locks built in. All three bags have locks built in and feel very sturdy and well-made. They were easy to open the first time as well. Each bag has instructions on how to change the lock code as well.
-built in pockets to the lining. All sizes have two zippers on the top lining, as seen in my review pictures. Even though I use packing cubes when I travel, the divided zippers will be useful I’m sure! The small zipper bag on the bottom half will be nice for any small or long things, like a flat iron or curling iron.
-how the bags are divided. They are taller on the bottom and shorter on the top. I think this will be useful for packing for longer trips especially. It may also help my luggage to not be so top/front heavy, which has caused my luggage to tip forward in the past.
-the retractable top handles. They feel sturdy and have different height adjustment features. The largest bag only has one because it’s so big, but the medium size has 2 height adjustments and the carry-on size has 3!
-the other top and side handles. The edges move inward when you pick up the bag, which makes it feel like they can support more weight and not like the handle is going to rip off. It’s a small feature but I like it a lot. Oh and the handles on the side by the tsa locks can hook an umbrella!
-the wheels. They’re so smooth when rolled across the floor! They will be awesome for going through the airport. Just make sure when you lay the luggage down, especially on the floor that the back 2 wheels are flat. I could see that causing damage to the wheels if they’re not layed out right.
-expandability! Each bag can expand which was another feature that was hard for me to find. Many other sets I looked at only came with an expandable large bag. But I really wanted all 3 to have that feature. The zipper that controls the expanding is green so it’s easy to find.

I have not traveled with any of these yet, but plan to take the carry-on with me on a flight at the end of January. I hope these pieces hold up well and last me a while! Overall, it seems well-made and each piece came wrapped in its own loose plastic bag, which I plan to keep them in to protect from any scratches or scraping during storage.
